Founded in 2020 by Sandra Ayach and Jessica Verratti, Saje Woman was born from the shared passion of its co-designers for beautiful materials and bikinis.
They draw inspiration from their travels, architecture and the color palettes that surround them.
“For us, it was a way of expressing our creativity and cementing our friendship through a common project.
“We worked on this first collection for two years, the biggest part of which was the fitting. The idea was to find cuts that would flatter all silhouettes while retaining the sexy, minimalist feel that is our DNA.”
In terms of palette, their first collection is inspired by a sand and terracotta color palette, a nod to their Mediterranean origins. “The sourcing of fabrics and the quality of our manufacturing were a priority for us; the fabrics come from Italy and production is entirely done in Portugal. From an ecological point of view, it was important for us to produce not far from home”.
With this brand, Sandra and Jessica also wanted to create exclusivity: “Each model will be produced in very small quantities, and once sold out, will not be renewed. We’ll keep our signature cuts, but we’ll constantly renew our fabrics and colors to offer something new and create that feeling of privilege for each of our customers. We love the idea of each of our SAJE Woman taking a piece of us with them on vacation.
